Wine Tasting & Pétanque !

Come and join us for our special French event on June 26th !

Se rencontrer, parler, déguster
et s'amuser all in French !

Back to life again ! Let's get out to meet people, especially people who speak French and love French culture, like you and me !
Speak French with fellow students and francophiles, enjoy tasting some of my favorite French wines with light appetizers, and play pétanque* - the iconic French ball-game from the South of France !

It's all about having fun !

This opportunity is open to anyone who speaks just a little bit of French.
We will be hosting the event at Paul and Michelle's house, my dear friends who love the game and built a special court to play pétanque*.

Where: 150 Pinehurst Road, Portsmouth
When: 3 to 7pm on June 26th with a rain date of June 27th
Price: $85

*PÉTANQUE: A game of French Origin in which steel balls are thrown toward a target ball (un cochonet in French), played outside on a roughly surfaced rectangular court.
The word pétanque comes from Povencal, petanco, foot planted like a stake, in reference to the fact that players must throw boules from within a small designated area and both feet touching the ground.
